    Pros

    Work with interesting brands, some are actually still popular and still relevant. You get to interact with franchisees (some have invested their life savings into a brand) and get a sense of accomplishment when you can help them.

    Cons

    Not sure where the revenue is going because you are not investing in any of these things: - wages/your employees - pays well below market - technology - old computers, old software, no tools - stores & franchisees - franchisees are suffering, almost none are marking a profit. (News flash, increased sales doesn’t not equal profit) - training - capable leadership

    Pros

    Good benefits (affordable health/dental/vision, 401k employer match, 15 days PTO & 11 paid holidays). Free ice cream.

    Cons

    Lower-middle base pay and no raises for merit/promotion, just a small single digit percentage raise each year. Understaffed department lead to increasing backlog of work, low morale, and unhappy franchisees. Company won’t pay for good technology if there’s a free/cheap alternative. Poor documentation available for self-training.
