    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Japan Tobacco International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Salary Company car Benefits Challenging work

    Cons

-The company takes too long to adapt to market changes while the competitors are already two steps ahead. -No budget to implement worthwhile programs. -No job security. -Fearful of losing your job constantly. -Fear mongering by immediate management. “Make one mistake and you’re gone” mentality. -Company on the brink of a restructure. -No career development. -Advancement only for people who know the right... people. -Bonus/pay increase has nothing to do with individual performance. -Individual goals that are set at the beginning of every year are meaningless. -A lot of procedures are only implemented so someone can justify their job and have little to do with anything useful. -An old boys club and a management that covers up mistakes for reps who they have a better personal relationship with while others get thrown under the bus. -Cold, Soulless and inaccessible management.

    Advice to Management

Learn to adapt and implement changes without confusion. No communication across departments and too many people doing one job.

I worked at Japan Tobacco International full-time

    Pros

Good environment and perfect opportunities for growth. It is possible to discuss with manager the opportunity of carrear growth and to choose the path of development.

    Cons

Extremely low salary. The managment has to consider it in order not to loose valuable work force. It may happen to get urgent request very often, feeling of being tensed.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to pay more attention to properdivision of work and life balance and to pay accordingly to those employees who work hard and get good results, otherwise they will leave company in a while
