Reviews about "work life balance"
Return to all Reviews- Current Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
Lots of opportunity to grow and advance your career Exciting learning and development opportunities - internal and external Challenging, stimulating work Focused on building teams within and across departments Interesting and diverse lines of business Investment in technology Great people and leadership
Cons
Driven, hard working culture can make work/life balance a challenge, at times. Need to make this more of a priority.
- Current Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
Company is very focused on growth and does promote a lot of development activities for its employees. Also there is no shortage of money when looking to fix an issue properly.
Cons
Workload has increased significantly and looks to be getting worse with all the growth projects planned. There does not seem to be a real focus on work/life balance and it is expected for the work to get done, no matter how much extra time is required to complete it.

Pros
Great diverse group of individuals all willing to step up to the plate when needed. Everyone works very hard.
Cons
Poor wages, terrible work-life-balance, when people leave your department they tell you they will be hiring a replacement but then they never do and the work just stays spread out amongst the team so you are eventually working way more (unpaid) overtime for less money. Cost of Living increases do not reflect actual inflation so your buying power shrinks.
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Good pay Friendly staff Room for growth Free commuting
Cons
Harsh conditions Outdoor work Very physical No work life balance Management difficult to convince
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Competitive benefits, close to home
Cons
No work life balance, responsibilities keep being added/given promotions with no pay raise
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Good benefits and compensation, director level management very strong
Cons
Very traditional, no flexible dress, work life balance is not a priority
- Former Employee, more than 10 years★★★★★
Pros

Cons
Work life balance is a challange
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★

- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
large organization with lots of resources
Cons
lack of work life balance, GM's often don't foster the right corporate culture. Favoritism is rampant.
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Good place to be on production side of things, not so good for maintenance engineers.
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great people to work with. Lots of opportunities to learn.
Cons
Work life balance not good, long work hours for maintenance team which can be good for people getting paid overtime, but not for salaried employees. Reluctant on spending money for training maintenance engineers and trades. Lack of advancement opportunities.
