Great colleagues, fun work environment, fun holiday party

High Stress Level Job, great if you are willing to work extra hours without pay
Jan 7, 2021 - Claims Adjuster in Toronto, ONRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
opportunity to take courses and lovely team mates.
Cons
new updates every week and process keep changing. You have to be current with all the changes along with the extremely high volume of work. You also have to put in 2-3 hours of your own time per day to keep up with the high volume of Claims. Sad part is that this has become a norm for all the adjusters and if you choose to attend your personal life after office hours your work load will spiral out of control.

Good benefits, large fairly stable company
Cons
Ridiculously high work load, management either unbelievably out of touch or lying through their teeth. Pay definitely below the industry average. It is truly baffling how this company is suppose to be a top employer for Canada.

Health and dental benefits. Payed Holidays. Working hours are reasonable Employees insurance program has good prices.
Cons
No structure whatsoever. Total desinformation at all time. Several bosses giving you things to do better atall times. No encouragements for your good work. Hypocrisy from management and bosses. Horribly noisy environement. Barely lets you go to the wc because of the incoming calls flow. No job mobility: give you the impression there is but in fact its non-existent. Enormous work load for 20$ per hour. Tools and system bug constantly. Will find any way to give you the least yearly bonus amount although you've worked extremely well and efficiently Call system is old and problematic The hr are not efficient if you work at agence intact, the advisor is never available.
