An amazing place where people are not just a number.

Innsoft is the type of place where hardwork and dedication are not overlooked. Doing a good job is rewarded and encouraged from the ownership of the company down to my coworkers. Middle management is highly approachable and willing to go the extra mile to assist employees. The benefits at Innsoft are second to none as well. The product is extremely reliable and affordable for the customers we serve. I have heard horror stories of other software companies that push product out that is less than ready for public consumption, and that doesn't happen here. I take a lot of pride in the product that we make as does everyone else that works here and it reflects in the end user experience. Being told on a daily basis that your customer loves you makes going to work easier as well.
Cons
Every company has growing pains, Innsoft is no exception. There is a push to make improvements in communication and product development everyday. If you are not the kind of person who can take criticism and feedback, and be willing to change, Innsoft is not the place for you.

Employees are appreciated here. They take our thoughts and concerns into genuine consideration for growth and change.

Open forum for expressing ideas and being heard. Low management overhead that allows for communication through all employees. The owner of the company cares a lot about the well-being of employees, and looks to motivate them, rather than simply demanding obedience. The company cares a lot about being transparent, so the employees don't feel manipulated.
Cons
Small development team currently. Very hard to implement customer-desired changes for the products offered. During the transition of growing into a larger company, some tasks that would normally be outsourced or designed for a specialized position are handled in house, and can stretch the staff thin.

Great People, Great Environment.
Mar 11, 2015 - Anonymous Employee in Beaverton, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
My coworkers are helpful and supportive, my supervisors are understanding, and the administration is open to new ideas and improvements. Overtime is encouraged and supported. Being the Emergency Support On Call has decent compensation, and scheduling is such that it is not required often.
Cons
Dealing with uncooperative customers is stressful. Finding ways to explain concepts to customers so they can understand them can be difficult. Sometimes there are not enough employees managing the incoming calls and stress levels become increased. It's easy to feel overworked due to lots of projects and lack of scheduled time to work on them. Mandatory overtime can happen as important projects come to a head.

A great place to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of a small business with a big heart.
Mar 18, 2015 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Employees are valued for their talents and encouraged to contribute on a small and larger level to the growth of the company. Exceptional benefit program including PTO and employer paid medical/dental plans. Fun, team oriented environment, that allows for support of each others skills. Ideas and creative thinking is encouraged, with an emphasis on taking care of the customer. Ownership or performance
Cons
Company is in a turnaround phase. Refocusing efforts on talent management, leadership, and accountability, after some personnel turnover. This will take time and the team is learning to take ownership, not be afraid to make decisions, and just get the job done.

Great working environment
Apr 6, 2015 - Tech Support in Beaverton, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great benefits (full medical/dental for you and your family), good comradery, excellent pay. The company is experiencing rapid growth and all employees are included in the process, providing excellent personal and professional growth opportunities.
Cons
From looking at another review here, apparently our communication isn't all it could be because I don't know anyone who is that dissatisfied. The two from disgruntled former employees make sense, because one was delusional and the other was not treated well when he wasn't able to pull his weight.

Laid back but supportive working environment. You are given excellent tools to do your job well. People are always happy to answer questions if you run into a difficult issues.
Cons
You definitely need to be a self-starter to work here. The company is small so if you don't get your work done, nobody will be breathing down your neck to finish it. That is also a plus if you are highly motivated.

Pros
- Fully Paid Benefits - Plenty of Food and Drink - Reasonable Hours - Interesting Office

Great little company with a big heart
Dec 11, 2017 - in Beaverton, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Innsoft is managed with the utmost integrity. There's no weird "culture" that's shoved down your throat - they hire you for you. So if you do you, come to work with an open mind, and take great care of clients - you will do well. Company stocked fridge, beer, lunch on Fridays. You can't beat this place.
Cons
The hours if you're not a morning person (Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm).

Chaotic and toxic work environment
May 24, 2013 - Tech Support in Beaverton, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Pay is ok, beer and vodka stocked in the fridge
Cons
Management, owner, and tenured employees are extremely unprofessional, abrasive, and inappropriately sarcastic. Questions are met with dramatic pushback, fireworks, and belittlement. The products supported are ancient, full of bugs, stressful to support, and hard to learn. Working here and being put down on a daily basis was degrading while I put in an honest and whole hearted attempt to fit in and learn the products.
