I worked at Indeed full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Tons of free food - Lots of vacation - Convenient location (Yonge/Bloor) - Spoiled by the company

    Cons

    - Young management - Lots of office politics - Job itself is boring/repetitive; very call center and micro managing - Not something you'd want to do for more than a year unless you are being spoon fed by management through the reassignment of spending accounts - Selling Indeed's product is tough because they offer the service for free so it is an uphill battle when trying to justify spending money

I have been working at Indeed full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Company is growing quickly because the product works extremely well. It is rare to be in sales and have the opportunity to sell a great product. Not to mention the great office, free food, office events and many more perks.

    Cons

Very competitive in sales here, not for everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review about your experience at Indeed Austin, as well as your years of service to Indeed! We’re so happy to see that you recommend us as an employer. It is our priority to make sure we are listening and acting on the concerns and suggestions of our staff, as they are the ones who help build us up as a company, and are our biggest and most valuable assets. We love providing our Indeedians with ample opportunities for career growth, such as ongoing Learning and Development courses via Indeed Learn, and an annual stipend for personal L&D. We encourage all our employees to take advantage of these offerings as they further their career with Indeed. Employees should be having weekly 1:1’s with their line managers to ensure that goals are met as well as for continual career development discussions. We also strongly encourage employees to have 1:1 skip-level manager check-ins if facing problems, as well as reaching out to your HRBP so they are aware and can provide feedback upwards as well. If you would like to share more via a confidential chat, please email our team at inside@indeed.com.

    Pros

Free food, good culture, great company outlook and mission, nice benefits.

    Cons

Career progression can be halted based on "who you know", some people are promoted because they have friends in the right places and not based on skill or merit.

Thank you for leaving a review of your work experience at Indeed. We are sad to read that you had a less than positive experience with us. Interacting with Sales is a core responsibility of the job as Client Success employees and Sales work together to support clients. As all roles do, workload fluctuates depending on a variety of reasons. We hope that all employees feel comfortable coming to HR or provide feedback through our employee engagement survey regarding topics such as management, company culture, position etc. If you would like to have a more confidential chat, please email us at inside@indeed.com.
