      Cons

I cannot even begin to list the amount of cons at this place. This company deserves a reality TV show with the level of drama that there is in the work place. - You will be guilt tripped if you leave at 5 pm after your 8 hr work day. - You will have to work weekends - Management is severely judgmental and toxic - Probably the most toxic environment in an oil company in Calgary (I've worked at others and certainly Imperial was the worst) - Management compare employees to each other (they even rate you against each other) and this creates a toxic competitive environment where the competition is not beneficial to anyone. - Middle management bullying employees - No opportunity to learn and grow. any question is judged heavily. - Overworking and handling way too much for your plate which eventually leads to burnout. If you ask for support they will tell you that you have no skills or you cannot prioritize well which then leads to meetings with higher management to discuss why you suck simply because you cannot work 7 days a week and handle 20 projects.. - HR will not do anything when issues are brought up to them. - Constant comparing, shaming and embarrassment in meetings if you did anything differently for any valid reason than another co-worker. - Get ready to defend your work as if you are a lawyer in a trial.
