    Cons

Some functions and roles are subject to significant work load demands that cause long overtime hours, typically on a cyclical basis No longer in downtown core - good and bad depending on your location and personal preference Evaluation and ranking process, just like in most large companies, has its good and bad aspects

I worked at Imperial Oil full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Great benefits, great field experience

    Cons

If you are the type of person who; will steal others work and take credit, stomp over your colleagues to move up the ladder, have zero technical skills for your job, are from the US, and have male parts - you will do great with this company. In addition, you must be an expert boot licker, thats the most important skill. Middle managers and supervisors have no idea what they are doing, have no experience in the... departments they are in charge of and have no skills or experience in managing people. The general motto is - "you are a number, do what your told or we'll make your life miserable"

    Advice to Management

Try designating supervisors with the proper technical experience and social skills for managing people instead of whoever is the best boot licker.
