I have been working at Husky Energy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Great people - Good pay - Work can be interesting depending on area

    Cons

    - No plans to adapt to a changing business environment - Employees are not empowered - Lots of talk about the importance of diversity & inclusion but senior leadership does not live it

    Advice to Management

Provide employees with a clear purpose and vision for the future. O&G is going through a disruption event. If you want to retain your best and brightest or have a hope of attracting new talent, you need to provide them with a vision for the future. "Maximizing shareholder return" doesn't get anybody but the C-Suite (with their options) out of bed in the morning.
