    Pros

    Very open and transparent management style with employees actively encouraged to speak up. Internal communication channels enable anybody to engage, with senior management willing to discuss difficult issues directly. Challenging and fast moving environment which pushes people to think of new and better ways of working. Customer centric culture with a CEO who leads by example. The current Covid 19 pandemic situation has brought the best out of the business with decisions being made with employees best interests at heart. Flexible working in place and concerted effort to recognise and promote equality and diversity.

    Cons

    No cons as such, otherwise would not be working here but there are some opportunities for improving the way we work. There are a lot of meetings! Some processes can be very manual, seem to take a lot of time with a lack of clarity on who is ultimately the decision maker.

    I have worked at Homeserve for 13 years and I feel like part of a big family . Its a friendly place to work. Great support network, everyone is approachable makes you feel welcome. We put our customer at the heart of everything we do and I can say this is true as a company we go above and beyond for our customers and help them and this is why I am proud to work for Homeserve and will continue to do so for many years.

    I have been working at HomeServe UK full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    I have been working in HomeServe for over 10 years now and last year I decided to probe developing from my office based role into one of the trades Homeserve work within to become a field based engineer. The support I have received through Greg and other directors, managers etc has been brilliant. Greg has an open door policy which I have used to gain further exposure to other directors within the business, who have provided me with great advice on how I can become an engineer within HomeServe. There are a lot of development opportunities in Homeserve and they do invest a lot of time and effort into individuals who show an eagerness to progress. I would highly recommend HomeServe to anyone looking to further their careers.

    I have worked here for just over 8 years in numerous roles. The Company has a real family feel and I really enjoy working here. My manager & team I work with are all very supportive. If you want development & ask for it, you are fully supported within the Company.

    Thanks for the great review. We pride ourselves on a great family atmosphere here at HomeServe, our CEO makes himself available for 121s and there has been a great deal of investment gone into Preston over the past year, so it's great that this being recognised by our People.
