I worked at Heineken full-time for more than a year

Despite company is a global brand, it is a collection of local business units with a diversity of administrative practices. Mexico BU is one of the best rewarded due to the importance to Heineken International. Local employee benefits are the best in Mexico

The Mexico BU is one of the biggest for Heineken worldwide so the headquarters respect the local management decitions. However, top Mexican management is lack of a global vision of business practices due to they have worked only in Monterrey so decitions are too local causing a narrow impact in the results. Management is not open to receive suggestions from global best practices or seem to accept but adapt as slow... as possible.

    Advice to Management

Think and act global. Accept mobility accross other business units to learn how best practices are working. Break Mexico silos to accelerate growth
