    I worked at Handy as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

    You get to choose jobs and show up and clean within the time frame the client order

    Cons

    Some clients may lie and say u never showed up and you may claim a job another pro already did

    Keep. Up the work

    I have been working at Handy as a contractor

    Pros

    You get paid on Thursdays

    Cons

    They track you on the app, but charge you as a no show when the customers aren't home and you can't get in. Not too many jobs. When it's time for you to make $20 up you get alot of cancelations which knocks your ratings down so you stay at $15. Cheap dirty customers no tips. Customers can't cancel without being charged. Management is a ghost.

    Advice to Management

    Be loyal to work worker's if you are tracking their movement they don't get up and go to a job to get charged for no shows. We can't help that ppl cancel that should not effect our pay or ratings. Pick up the dam phone.

    Flexible hours, earn a good amount of money

    Cons

    Bad rating system. Must keep a rating of 4.2/5. But if customers don't rate you despite how well you work your rating will drop.

    Fix the rating system

    Pay isn't great and it can be hard to please customers

    Hire less employees for a higher wage and let them keep tips

    Pros

    There is some money to be made.

    Cons

    VERY easy to lose on the payment tier. Tier and rating system extremely flawed.
    They tell customers that tips are included in what they pay, I had no idea until I found out from a customer
    Jobs cancel at last minute you get no compensation. If you cancel a job even the day before you lose $25 from your next job.
    You pay for all supplies and gas.
    Difficult to get ahold of.
    Terrible customer service, making you the one that customers take that out on.
    They dont hire experienced cleaners, they will ask if you are and just take your word for it.
    ALWAYS having issues with the portal, they don't resolve any problems you have.

    Advice to Management

    You need a better customer service team. Improve the payment teir system. Stop telling customers that tips are included. Value and respect your cleaners.
