I have been working at Great-West Life Assurance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of change and movement in corporate areas. There appears to be sincere efforts to improve the risk management and technology change

    Cons

Senior leadership is still figuring the technology transformation thing.... Half the organisation is stuck in the 90s. Cafeteria food is worse than highschool schlop.

    Advice to Management

To inspire employees to do bold things , leadership needs to demonstration boldness themselves. Big things like strategy matter, but so do Small things that attract the more forward looking, independent minded employees - office space, food, dress code etc
