  9. "2nd year senior accountant"

    StarStarStarStarStar
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Halifax, NS

I have been working at Grant Thornton International full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The office environment is relaxed and social, the age demographic for audit seniors is relatively young so is good for new grads or newly designated accountants. Global mobility opportunities exist within the network of firms.

    Cons

Pay is relatively poor. Client base/focus is predominantly small business in Canada which can be good and bad. The downside to this is repetition of non-complex files that may limit learning and exposure to publicly listed entities and multinationals.
