Your point about being forward thinking is well-taken. Historically, that probably isn't something we did as well as we could have. The good news: I'd suggest that has really changed for the better, particularly in recent times. Look no further than how we've transformed our business for the future. Thanks for the review!

      Pros

Work life balance, great people, good pay, good benefits

      Cons

Lack of support in the field, broken processes, heavy budget cuts in fuel expenses, constant change has made this company a very toxic environment to work for. Cart before horse mentality.

Deep cuts and more to come. Unstable Business Model

      Pros

Good work/life balance. The compensation is fair for now but it is changing January 2019

      Cons

They are closing branches and cutting jobs. They are putting higher work loads on the people that are staying and senior management does not seem to know what they are doing. The company is going in the wrong direction.

      Pros

Great people, work-life balance, opened the doors to so many opportunities that it out weighs all the cons, truely had an amazing experience with the company and was extremely difficult to leave until I realized even better opportunities. Work for Acklands Grainger was definitely the best career move I made.

      Cons

-uncertain of company direction, slow processes, run by Americans who don't know our market. Company unable to roll out new compensation package for sellers. Lots of organizational changes reduced many of the management jobs abover field sellers so advancement is more difficult these days.
