I have been working at Goldman Sachs full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Best in class benefits and maternity leave offerings. The company as a whole is interested in the development of its employees via training offerings, travel opportunities, ability to view interesting speakers during working hours.

    Cons

Depending on you division, department and direct manager, work-life balance is not great. Operations Division requires an un-spoken "10 hour day" minimum. If your manager is a "Face time" manager, ability to work from home or create a flexible work arrangement can be difficult. Add a long commute on both ends and it can feel like you're selling your soul to work here.

    Advice to Management

Culture could be better. Employees could benefit from a more direct and honest approach.
