I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

They take care of their people in every way. Very impressive facility at the NYC headquarters, with all the comforts. Strong corporate structure to make sure no one is misused. Good, transparent leadership.

    Cons

Not really a con, but not a lot of handholding if you are a slow learner. They expect top-tier, smart work from every employee. If you want to move up from an administrative position, you will have to lobby for it - nothing will just fall in your lap here.

I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time

    Pros

Teams are from leading colleges across the country.
They try to practice a flat hierarchy and encourage it.
Pantries with coffee machines, food courts and even transportation is arranged for you.
Loads to learn in terms of soft skills, how to navigate people and management, great way to get a flavour of the corporate culture

    Cons

Severe cost cutting over the years, the additional benefits that were offered to employees have been downsized each year.
Work can be quite mundane, with little scope to expand working knowledge.
Your promotions heavily depend on how much your manager likes you, supports you etc.
Work-life balance is terrible in certain Ops teams
