I worked at Goldman Sachs full-time

    Pros

Teams are from leading colleges across the country. They try to practice a flat hierarchy and encourage it. Pantries with coffee machines, food courts and even transportation is arranged for you. Loads to learn in terms of soft skills, how to navigate people and management, great way to get a flavour of the corporate culture

    Cons

Severe cost cutting over the years, the additional benefits that were offered to employees have been downsized each year. Work can be quite mundane, with little scope to expand working knowledge. Your promotions heavily depend on how much your manager likes you, supports you etc. Work-life balance is terrible in certain Ops teams
