I worked at Golder Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Happy friendly work atmosphere, safe environment, they pay overtime and won't force field work on you

    Cons

Massive disconnect between juniors and senior principals.. intermediates are not given the opportunity to defend juniors and juniors do not receive feedback from seniors. Lots of turn over, and senior management lacks attention to detail, so with all the people coming and going there is a lack of check and balance and mistakes go unnoticed, hire new people and press start again

I worked at Golder Associates full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Interesting work, but you start out competing with colleagues for the work

    Cons

People are motivated by being worried about lay offs. This results in an inability to effectively team up and put people forward for specific project tasks who are most suited. I feel clients do not get the quality as all available work goes to those who have been there the longest, not to those who are most experienced or suitable.
