I worked at Glentel full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    There are a lot:
    1. Compensation is by far the best in the industry. Benefits package is amazing and contest/incentives happen very often.
    2. Opportunity for growth. GLENTEL is a big advocate of personal and professional development. Their training program is extensive and tackles every level on the retail side. Programs encompass, sales training, leadership, time management, hiring, operations, etc...most of their positions are filled with internal candidates, even at the senior executive level.
    3. You feel like you have a lot of autonomy in what you do. You are encouraged to think customer first and make customer experience the number one priority.
    4. People are amazing!

    Cons

If you are a person who doesn’t take responsibility and likes to blame circumstances than GLENTEL is not for you!

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up

I have been working at Glentel full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good Commissions. Great Benefits and Vacation time. Good room for growth if you're a follow through type of person.

    Cons

Demanding job and can be overwhelming. High Stress

    Advice to Management

Pay your leaders more. Those are the people breaking their backs to move up and grow. Can be very draining when you're making nearly the same as entry level employees.

I have been working at Glentel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The corporate culture is really strong. The head office departments work together to support the business in the field and that unites the teams. There is also an entrepreneurial spirit and a its exciting to see your business initiatives accomplished. The business targets and results are shared with us monthly and we can see the results of our efforts. We also have an excellent health and wellness program that includes onsite yoga and pilates classes 3 times per week, complimentary for anyone who would like to participate.

    Cons

For me this is a pro, but for some people it might be a con. The business moves fast and you have to be able to work through some ambiguity.
