I worked at GlaxoSmithKline full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

working for gsk gives one a feeling of inclusion , there is enough room to learn and grow and the managers were willing to assist in guiding you through your career.

    Cons

due to the size of the company, some countries do not have the power to make decisions but have to wait for the category team to make such decisions which is pain staking. Also, there are too many systems and layers in the company that makes deliverables extremely slow down. in addition , with the new management , certain changes have been made to the company and their offices in some markets were shut down without prior notice to the staff . due to the change of management, the company does not seem to have am actual direction, plans keep changing on a whim.

    Advice to Management

reduce the systems and layers to make jobs easier for people and prepare people on the closure of certain markets on time .

I have been working at GlaxoSmithKline full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Colleagues are good people, nice gym (has classes), cafeteria is ok (better before Sept 2017), free parking, if you like change you need to work here
