school - work balance is really good if you are a student. The supervisors will work with you on schedule issues especially if you are a student.

professors may undermine you sometimes and the pay isn't too great but overall there's much cons.

Pros
Faculty and staff (at least in Liberal Arts) are legitimately congenial and supportive. Teaching is outcomes-focused, which gives instructors lots of creative freedom.
Cons
Almost every agency within the college deals with constant, ongoing staffing issues. Faculty handle disproportionately large service loads, doing work that would be best served by dedicated professionals. The school is very "bottom heavy" with underclassmen, so most faculty teach almost entirely entry-level and Core classes. Student population can be really discouraging to deal with.
