I worked at George Brown College part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The pay is really good as a part timer but there it is always a fight to get hours.

    Cons

The work culture is very bad. if you want to hear complaints about how hard a government unionized high paying job is from boomers and millenials; then this is the place for you. The part timers do most of the work while the full time staff do the bare minimum of what their job description says they do. There is no job security as a part timer because they re-new contracts every 4 months, which means they can lay you off for no reason if they wish. Worst job I have ever had.
