Pros

-Fantastic people (truly) -Awesome location -New and innovative tech -Great benefits -Fun times I had some real fun at this company. I met a lot of very interesting and very talented people who were always more then happy to give there professional & personal insight. I will likely always miss working here, but am happy for all of the connections that I made.

Cons

I wish that I could skip this section of the review, but I can't. There are some glaring issue's that I feel need to be addressed. -No HR Department --If you have a serious problem with the behavior of someone at this company, you may as well forget it. There is no one to talk that can assist in your issue, and it may do you more harm then good trying to escalate it. -IT Director --I don't want to personally attack anyone, but this man was such an extreme amount of stress in my life that I feel like I have to say something. I warn anyone planning to work under him. The amount of time I wasted trying to appease his malformed sense of work ethic would have been better spent elsewhere. I was insulted in nearly every interaction. Unfortunately the nepotism is very real in this case, and any attempt to remedy the situation simply made it worse. After awhile, I just gave up.

Absolute worst place to work in OC

Pros

Kawasaki is a great client to add to your resume - but power sports are on a decline and if they ever fired Fuse the entire agency would be unemployed.

Cons

This is not my first agency rodeo - and this place is absolutely terrible. No formal or informal HR which means no process at all. No training, no team structure, and very high stress workplace. Frequently heard racial slurs and inappropriate discussions in the workplace. save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

Pros

Decent location, kitchen fully stocked, generous work hours, work load is easy . Roughly 80% of the other employees are awesome and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Use of older technology is all they know, no one knows or even understands any software principles. Lots of hard-coding that would make seasoned developers cringe. No development process and lack of knowledge on how to properly deploy a website. Even when using a build server, manually pushing files not ideal. There are no requirements document and no code reviews, so developer churn terrible code and even “hacks” just to get around an issue, which in turn creates more bugs to be fixed, which creates a viscous cycle of maintenance hell. Most of the developers think they are hotshot, coding away, not properly structuring them to be reusable or scalable. But they failed to realize that when the client wants to make changes, the same code is needed elsewhere. When an issue is brought up they ignore it, but once the client finds out, they go into full panic mode trying to remedy the issue. Their solutions are usually very poorly and hastily thought out.
