I worked at Freescale Semiconductor for more than 3 years

    Pros

Freescale is a world leading digital networking and automotive company. In FSL you can feel equity and comfortable at any time.

    Cons

Freescale Semiconductor is now being merged into NXP, then Qualcomm. The downside working in FSL is that you may feel unstable for the time being.

I worked at Freescale Semiconductor full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Lots of flexibility. Always something to work on.

    Cons

Like most companies... It can be hard to replace a team member once they leave. More than likely someone else has to pick up the slack for a few years.

    Advice to Management

Management was pretty good. To make it better it would be nice to recognize when a team member is losing their passion and perhaps recommend some career help.
