I worked at Fraser Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Pay cheque, good dental, extended medical doesn't cover a lot of prescriptions.

    Cons

Poor, weak and unsupportive Managers and supervisors with old style managing skills and show who little respect for the employees. Some Managers are childish and fight amongst each other. and supervisors are rude and talk about other staff to other employees. The Managers are hardly ever in the office and need to retire! Extremely toxic work environment, staff who have been there for a long time have high school mentality, talk about others, pass the buck. Employees tolerate bullying and harassment in the workplace which HR Department should be dealing with...totally unacceptable. Technology needs to be updated.

    Pros

Good people with kind work environment. Enjoyed working with the the team as well as other teams.

    Cons

No sense of urgency and slow processes which creates questions around our use of tax payers dollars. This was one of the main reasons for leaving as I did not want to "know" how the processes are so wasteful. This was not in a clinical setting.
