I have been working at Flipp full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Joining Flipp was the best career move I have made. The culture is miles ahead of previous companies. It is very much a meritocracy where hard work pays off. The team I work on regularly hangs out outside of the office because we truly enjoy spending time with each other and want to be successful because of those around us. Everyone will provide open and honest feedback across the team so that we are able to grow and get better. Lots of perks including company trips, snacks, lunches, parking/TTC passes, and events.

    Cons

The company has grown rapidly and with that comes growing pains. While my team has an amazing culture, other teams in the company have suffered as we grown. This isn't surprising and teams are actively working to fix it.

I have been working at Flipp full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The team members are the reason to come to work. Everyone is driven to win and supportive of one another. The business has gone through a lot of change but feels like we have the right direction and great strategic partnerships with our customers. Good pay and benefits and the ability to manage your own work/life balance. Finally, excited about the future and what we can do if we stay focused on what we do best and deliver the plans for the future at the right pace.

    Cons

For all of those who ask for feedback but do not mean it this place is not for you. However can say in our team the feedback is generally to strengthen us all so we can be our best. Some travel which can make for long weeks once in a while.

I worked at Flipp full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    You'll make really good friends.

    Cons

There's no separation between work and life. You're always connected and the leadership team (exec) has no idea what they're doing. They've done a good job getting the company to where it was by end of 2016 but everything beyond that has been smoke and mirrors, missed revenue targets, failed product launches and partnerships. The app is so complicated and not user-friendly that I don't even know how to work it.

I have been working at Flipp full-time

    Pros

-Meritocracy: Your performance determines your growth path and your success -Coaching: Receive copious amounts of 1:1 coaching from management to help you grow -Culture: Team camaraderie is paramount. The most important thing to everyone in the company is serving each-other and ensuring everyone has the help they need -Compensation: Above average salary, benefits, perks, etc. -Flexibility: Completely flexible hours. As long as you get your work done. -Visibility: Always know how you are performing in management's eyes. Also are kept abreast of how the company is growing and its goals and vision.

    Cons

Because of the growth of the organization, there are more things to do than there are people to do them. The simple fix is to focus on what is important and what is the priority for the company and each respective team. This is what management teaches, and if it's adhered to, it's very easy to have an excellent work/life balance. With that being said, this is a company of high-performers, so if you want a job where you get 3 hours a day to sit on Facebook or research Fantasy Football, you should go somewhere else.
