Growing pains are definitely happening right now, but this is all part of growth as a company RSUs are still restricted since Evernote is not public yet

I have been working at Evernote full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Perks are great but the people are greater! Yes, the perks are great with daily lunches provided, gym on site, barista, great benefits paying about a third on insurance premiums as I did with my last company. The people are even greater staying positive in an ever changing world of technology. CEO is awesome and very transparen . If you think not, you have never worked for bad CEO's. If anyone sees this place as toxic as I read in a previous post, this is probably not the place for you anyway. You need to go to work in a true toxic environment so you can appreciate a company like Evernote.

    Cons

Growing pains which is never a bad thing. Getting the infrastructure and systems ready for all the growth is a must.

I have been working at Evernote full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Product and mission that matters and positively impacts the lives of millions of users every day. New leadership team is strong, collaborative, open and working well together to unlock the full potential of Evernote..and focused on the right things Culture is mission-oriented, fun, quirky...good work-life integration...and great set of values that make me proud to work here.

    Cons

Evernote is clearly back on the right track by any objective measure, though experiencing some inevitable growing pains (tech and design debt, figuring out new functions and skills, etc.) Lots of new hires over the past year are learning how best to work together.

I have been working at Evernote full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working with very inspired, talented, passionate people who are out to change the world. Probably the best team I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. An opportunity to contribute to an amazing set of products and services that I love and use every day. Entrepreneurial environment that has encouraged breaking rules and trying different things. Excellent brand value, outward communications, and messaging.

    Cons

Growing pains like most other startup-type organizations. People and projects can come and go which can be upsetting to the uninitiated. Running fast has at times impacted performance of existing products and recovery from missteps has been slow. At times management has been unclear communicating goals, objectives, and priorities for the company.

I have been working at Evernote full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I've felt challenged yet supported through my first year at Evernote. The managers, directors and VPs on the technical side are intelligent, capable, and understanding (haven't had much interaction with the non-technical managers). Everyone is intensely focused on their work, and tries to live up to the high expectations of management, which I appreciate. Literally no one I've met is coasting. Love the perks, like a basically free electric car, Caltrain pass, and, especially, Tea Time Tuesdays. And, sushi for lunch on a regular basis.

    Cons

The location, while a short walk from the Caltrain station, is a really difficult commute for most people in SF. There's a shuttle bus with limited stops in the city, so if you're close to that or close to Caltrain, you're set. Would love to see a satellite office in SF! You can tell this company is rapidly growing, and has very typical growing pains. People make mistakes, but I haven't seen many big ones.
