      a decent job

      Pros

The building is beautiful. In-house cafeteria and cafe. Monthly massages. In-house gym. Away from downtown. You can get hired for most positions with minimal computer knowledge or education credentials. Decent amount of freedom and not so much micro-managing. Annual bonuses. Overtime is offered in many dept sporadically.

      Cons

The pay is very inconsistent. Employees in the same role are making dramatically different wages. They don't negotiate upon hire, and they dramatically alter the starting wages on a yearly basis, so that new hires get paid a substantially more amount than veterans. Management can't be trusted to honor their promises. (Regarding incentives). They will create an incentive program, allow half of the employees to take advantage and have their chance at a substantial pay increase, and then cancel the program permanently before everyone promised had their shot at the program; which further varies the pay rates; Complete lack of fairness in that regard. It can get very busy at times. They tend to be understaffed across the board. It gets frustrating waiting for other departments to work their piece of the transaction and having little to no control, but yet having to be the one to discuss the delays with the clients.

      Solid company with unlimited potential

      Pros

Management and Upper Executives very knowledgeable in the business and actually cared about team members. Always encouraged training and growth and cross training through the departments. Training and relationships with the clients were encouraged in order to educate the clients to be a better investor and owner of their IRA.

      Cons

Some of the challenges were the software solutions that were implemented and the cross communication through out the departments with documents required and documents that were received. Communication between departments was less than stellar and unless you had a relationship with someone in the department there was little to no resource sharing.

      Pros

Great retirement package and they do have quarterly events for employes such as their black tie event . It takes the place of christmas party.

      Cons

The company policies are extremely stringent down to the point they can tell you to change your fabric softener. There is little to no diversity at the company. A call center of 50 CST's 3 were minorities. The companies work enviroment is his stress and you are required to know a great deal. Their training progam is 6 weeks with a ramp up time of 6 months so they tell you. If you do not fit the mold of the their image they make it very diffucult to succeed there, If your a suburban yuppy apply... You will go far,

      Pros

There are monthly events for employees, such as a half day at Swings and Things, or an Indian's game. Decent benefits.

      Cons

Little to no communication between departments. Little communication between management and employees, and what is provided is generally only applicable for a short period of time. Decisions are made without regards to cause and effect.
