Pros
I really appreciate the fact that the CEO is a majority owner and is a solid individual who cares about his company. Coming from a large faceless co. that is very refreshing. I am lucky to have a great team, so my day to day is quite pleasant and rewarding because we make good progress every sprint. Company has grown a lot in past few years but still feels like one team. I feel I can reach out to pretty much anyone and they'll help me out with a project.
Cons
I won't share anything too specific here, but there are a small handful of people in the co. who aren't qualified for their role and who are not taking their responsibilities seriously enough, and despite obvious failures, see no consequences. This is the case at most companies though so take that with a grain of salt. Some obvious cutbacks as of late on some the extras. I was blown away by the team activities, lunches etc. when I first started. They're increasingly rare now. Not a big deal obviously but still kind of miss that aspect.
