Pros

The team and company really are what make working here so good! i've had some really stressful and unfriendly places in the past, which really effected my mental wellbeing, this isn't one of them. From the head office team, to the training teams and the site teams, i couldn't wish for a better place of work, i actually enjoy coming in to warm smiles and help on hand every day.

Cons

Pros

- Self directed work - Higher ups take personal interest in each employee - Good management and usually positive working environment - Good extra benefits such as cash back on private health appointments - Fun yearly party with hotel stay and travel included - 10% bonus opportunity* - Helpful and usually quick response from IT support - Office pet friendly - Opportunity to request alternate working hours due to lifestyle (needing to collect kids etc) - Bank holidays given - Day off for birthday

Cons

- Very poor initial training, almost no information on Scotland as it is entirely England focused, which has different laws and so is mostly irrelevant. -Starting to include AI within the business. Not yet essential to use but may lean that way. Ironic and disappointing considering one of the core values of the company is 'Human'. - Training has little to no physical reference points, e.g. how to use online systems - Little to no development opportunities unless in England or in HR/Mobilisation - Poorly organised bonus scheme, calculated mostly on sectors that individual employees have no say or way to influence, also often calculated incorrectly and so underpaid - Relatively low pay considering specialism and similar roles within the area - Verbally promising higher salaries and other benefits which were then not given or adhered to - No overtime pay opportunities, only time back which is not always feasible due to workload - Not hiring enough people (or hiring far too slowly) to fulfill everyday jobs needing done, e.g. maintenance and cleaners - Things such as work parties and food given rather than cash incentives

Pros

-There are good opportunities for progression — I’ve seen around 6–8 people advance during my 2–3 years at head office. -The overall environment supports wellbeing, with benefits like downtime, a wellbeing hour, birthday leave, a solid sick pay policy, and work events. This is better than any of my previous roles. -The team has a strong, close-knit feel — it genuinely feels like a family.

Cons

-Managers appear to face a higher level of scrutiny here compared to my previous employment. I understand that management roles naturally come with increased responsibility, including performance delivery, supervision, and monitoring behaviour. However, the difference in pay between my role and more entry-level positions does not feel proportionate to these added pressures. There have also been instances where I felt the HR department provided unclear or inaccurate information. At the time, I chose not to pursue these issues further for the sake of my own wellbeing, but I have kept a record of them should they need to be addressed in the future. When dealing with challenging team members and the internal issues they may cause, it is concerning to observe what feels like a more cautious or protective approach toward them. This appears inconsistent with how similar behavioural matters are handled at management level, where expectations and consequences seem to differ.
