    Pros

Great colleagues around the world Strong values from executive leadership - people who truly want to do the right thing. Thoughtful, long-term approach Dedication to public health Very philanthropic Diagnostic industry in the spotlight - great industry to be in right now If you're someone who likes to get in and work hard to turn theory into practice, you'll go far. Benefits are fantastic.

    Cons

Under-resourcing in certain support functions - too many great people who are very tired. Support functions compete with each other for resources - especially headcount. Functions that are more "bloated" keep growing. Need to take a hard overall look at the company to identify where there may be too many positions and reallocate where those positions are needed. Top leadership has difficulty making tough decisions, especially about people who are toxic to the culture. Sometimes you've just got to go with your gut. A great culture is one of the main reasons people stay at the company. Without that, you have nothing. Most people are great, but the "bad apples" lead to stress and wasted time, regardless of their supposed "talents". Salaries can be stagnant if you stay a long time. Huge difficulty to move to "market rate" if you start too low.
