      a lot of different experiences, always new things to learn or to work on

      Cons

      most legislators don't know how to manage people. And expectations for participation in campaigns distort the nice vacation benefits.

      Interned for rep baldehs office and it was a great learning experience. I got credit for it as well.

      Engaging, fun work environment. Definitely a great first job.

      Your experience is very dependent on your boss/co-workers. I had a great boss, but not all are great.
