      Pros

Loyalty, hardwork, and consistency are valued traits to this company and can be rewarding overtime if you can prove you're irreplaceable. Compensation starts off very low but can quickly increase based on performance. Used to questionably only hire caucasians, but due to restructuring they have increased hiring of minorities. Agree to sell your soul and this company will Love you!

      Cons

Unstructured. Currently restructuring, which benefits the company but not for employees. high turnover rate w/ employee's leaving due to aggressive management. Benefits are BS, they increased the percentage employees contribute from 15% to 50%. Uncomfortable work environment with creepy round the clock surveillance on employees. There is a questionable trend of withholding pay from those that choose to leave the company.

          Pros

Really fun place to work! Great discount in the store (W Hotels the Store), also get a discount at all Starwood Hotels. Carry popular designers and some that are under the radar and very cool. There's a lounge where you can eat for free, sometimes good. Frequently see celebrities that are staying in the hotel. Good music and ambiance. Work by yourself (not micromanaged while you're there.)

          Cons

Very stingy. Do not invest in their employees. Corporate has no idea what's going on in stores that are outside of NYC/does not know target market, as it varies with each location. Do not want to pay for parking, or office supplies. Extremely high turnover, in retail employees as well as corporate.

        Alex L.

Applied for a job a few weeks back, got a call from HR yesterday morning about an interview next week. She mentioned she'd shoot me an email with all the interview details, but so far, my inbox is empty. Assuming I'll hear from her early next week, is it normal for them to expect me to show up for an in-person interview on short notice, like couple days?
