Pros
Great pay and benefits. Typical schedule, if you are lucky to get on one right away is usually 4 weeks on and 2 off.
Cons
High Turnover Rate. The SLS operations management team is too laid back and has no managment experience. They were grandfathered in after being "shop" hands, fixing and calibrating the equipment we use. They need to take some management classes and appreciate their job, before they can appreciate what we do in the field. A lot of money is spent on new hires due to turnover rate, if middle management was smart they may be able to save Weatherford money by keeping the already trained professionals from quitting.
