Cons
Worst interview practices I've ever seen. "Old boys club" environment. Extremely politically conservative and will absolutely push their politics unto their employees. They send out a newsletter pushing far right politics regularly, written by the owner and the owners wife, Liz. Promotions are based solely on how well the managers like you, not on competency. And if you are a liberal, good luck even getting a job here, let alone a promotion. They will absolutely check your social media and if you have anything even remotely liberal on yours they will end the hiring process (I scrubbed mine on the advice of a friend before I applied). They routinely interview applicants 6+ times with no intention of actually hiring them, leading them on for months in order to meet their quotas. They are expert level at wasting fresh out of college young adult time throughout this process. And again, if they get the slightest whiff of you not being Republican, you have zero chance. It's one of the weirdest most cultish work environments I have ever been a part of. You are basically expected to worship the owners and pledge fealty to them for the PRIVILEGE of getting constantly forced for overtime and making barely industry standard pay/benefits. They preach work life balance endlessly but will also leave you as little time as possible with your family, normal work days are very long and routinely go longer than scheduled. Most of the normal workers are very friendly and pleasant to work with, management are disconnected from the realities of regular folks work and are typically promoted based on the "old boys club" environment. Highly recommend not working here, at least not in the office, which is where my experience was. They are a company that claims to are deeply for their employees, but in reality they just want to use you up as much as possible and if you don't fit into their idea of "conservative" you won't get a job or move up at all. Try working at basically any other job before working here, Andersen windows is a great company in the area that is miles better in pay/benefits/work life balance.
