We had to ask permission to use the bathroom and we were timed how long we were away. We were not allowed to take personal calls. The few times I took phone calls from my children I was scolded for it. When I asked senior management if this was appropriate I got in troubl from my boss. They would rather shoot the messenger than look at where the problems are. Pay scale is low compared to other accounting jobs in the area. Leaving the company was the best thing to do.
