Pros
most of the staff are nice.
they have some good team building activities
the job itself is ok, with a lot of interest in the product.
helpful hr and cross department communication
Cons
There is a long-term group there who control everything and have a say in new employees.
Lack of transparency, with my immediate manager on holidays during my probation.
The CEO is a nice guy, but he is peculiar and particular. If you get off on the wrong food, he won't warm to you (he's a bit of a geek).
Some of the chat that goes on is annoying and unprofessional, a hard environment to focus in sometimes.
Everything is all over the place; there is no proper training implemented for new staff.
I was let go, and they tried to do it illegally, thankfully I knew my rights, and threatened to take legal action, not before they threatened me with a lawyer, a small compensation was agreed, but not after i called them out on it.
Management is very clicky and it seemed and would spent alot of their time meeting each other.
A lot of the software and channels they use are frankly outdated and not very effective, for day-to-day use.
Very cost minimalist, outsourcing staff from third world countries, and consistently looking to cut costs, this diminishes consumer satisfaction and the company operations.
