Hi there, This is Nick from the People & Culture team. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. I absolutely agree about the best-in-class coworkers. So happy to hear that you gained valuable experience with room for learning and development—that is our ultimate goal for anyone at Trellis Group. I also appreciate your honest input on the challenges that come with working in a smaller organization, especially one that has a unique nature in media & events. We recognize the potential for burnout during peak times and are continuously looking for ways to support our team during these periods. Finding the right balance for our team in an ever-changing landscape is a priority, and your feedback reinforces the importance of this focus. Thank you again for your thoughtful insights—they help us grow and improve!

Pros

- Great coworkers - everyone is supportive, friendly, approachable and easy to work with. - Meaningful mission - Fun to travel to our events - Fully remote, flexible, great work/life balance - Discretionary PTO - Hopeful for growth/promotion within the company (we will see)

Cons

- No 401k match - A lot of staff turnover (and employees being let go quickly) - Leadership team is quick to make changes and not realize it's impact on the team - A lot of layoffs last year was unsettling

Hi, this is Nick from the People & Culture team. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re glad to hear that you value our supportive and approachable team, the Trellis Group mission, and the flexibility of a fully remote environment. It’s always so energizing to see our team at our events and agree it’s a lot of fun! Thank you for highlighting benefits like a 401k match—this is valuable input as we continue to evaluate ways to enhance our benefits package for the future. Unfortunately, it has been a tough market to navigate the last couple of years in our industry with many companies having gone through similar uneasy waters. Our team is constantly assessing to ensure we have a sustainable future for our company that allows us to continue to deliver on our mission. Turnover is also a natural part of a business, sometimes out of our control for folks who are ready for their next career journey. Our hope is that they were able to gain valuable experience during their time at Trellis to support their longer career goals! You can always reach out to your manager and/or the People & Culture team anytime. We're happy to chat further on anything and provide support. Thank you again for your feedback.
