Pros

They listen to the desires of the employees, sometimes a bit too much. Travel positions are always available if that is something you desire. Great atmosphere with a lot of perks people take for granted. Lots of internal promotion. I've been promoted twice in 2 years. If you work hard for them them, they will work for you.

Cons

They honestly catere a bit too much to the employees. For example, to deal with some morale issue they created an advisory panel for employee feedback. This just turned into a list of unrealistic expectations from a lot of people who have never worked anywhere else and don't realize how good they have it. Honestly, the pay could be more competitive with the area job market. Many of the people I've seen leave have left due to money. That being said, many of them have returned to the company after a time.

Pros

Rapidly growing business with mix of industry veterans and entrepreneurs Focus on client satisfaction and delivery. Opportunity to change roles based on interest and capabilities. Flexible work environment where feasible.

Cons

Can feel a bit “breathless” some times given the pace. Clients can often have unmet expectations when expecting greater customization than is possible.

Pros

A lot of friendly coworkers. Everybody pretty much knows everyone else.

Cons

Let's start with the company being penny wise and pound foolish. They bring in new people with less experience and skill at higher pay rates than the people who have to train them and/or mentor them. Management has also moved the goalposts on people who have met previous requirements to get promoted. The company hires a lot of young people. While it is great that they're all new and malleable, they lack the experience of more seasoned workers. Thus you'll see mistakes made that more mature companies will already have handled. The firing emails are another thing. Out of the blue there will be an email to everyone "Effective immediately, John Smith no longer works for MediTract". People who otherwise appeared to be productive workers were escorted out. Right before I turned in my notice, one of my coworkers was fired. Right after I resigned, another two were fired. I've been in contact with all three of them since they've been fired and they are significantly happier now. Their manager (we all had the same one) kept them in a constant state of fear and anxiety while they worked there. While the upper management were a pleasure to work with, mileage varied wildly with each middle and lower manager. Some could be great to work with, others were not.
