Pros

Cool group to work with. I had some great opportunities for learning and personal learning and growth at Thrust. I had minimal experience in game dev, but they threw me in the deep end and gave me plenty of guidance. I learned quick, and cranked out a few games in my short time there.

Cons

Not really a reflection of the company, but ATL rush-hour is crazy bad. Took a while to commute.

Pros

Remote work, good benefits, and worthwhile projects to work on.

Cons

Due to the remote nature, sometimes there's a disconnect between coworkers/managers. Communication is key to mitigating this though.

Pros

Super friendly, welcoming, and understanding of my weird scheduling. Gave me plenty of options on what I could work on and learn from. Let me dive in head first and work at my own pace. Got lots of support when I wasn't sure where to start doing things. Very chill place to work, great ambiance, and the company is right next to several very yummy eats.

Cons

I interned during a weird phase of the project that I worked on (just after a release, before the beginning of the next major push), so I didn't really get to see much work as I would have liked. But that had a lot to do with the timing and my own scheduling.
