I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great collaborative culture and senior managers and directors promote changes and improvement in everything. It is very rare to be able to see such a culture in a big organization

Cons

Location is not the best, requires a lot of travel time for those who do not live in north york

I have been working at The Home Depot part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some benefits for part time, better for full time.

    Cons

almost everything else.....they do not care as stated in there philosophy. I am just about to quit. Love what I do there.....hate the snobby management, the inconsistency, skinny staff, penalties for not doing what they want you to do....lots of flaws in this company.

    Advice to Management

Try talking to the associates. The store manager and assistant store manager rarely if ever show up to ask how things are. Store manager as never asked me in the dept how I am or how things are going. I do not see the dedication to the front end. Out store has a very very poor moral right now. Sad....because I actually like my job there but feel like I am totally being used.
