Pros
Everyone at Tecplot is smart, driven and helpful. There is a sense of community and common purpose as people collaborate on a task, chat in the hallway or lunch room or group together to go on an outing. The work-life balance allows everyone to work hard while they are at work and be able to recharge when they are not. There is a lot of flexibility. The work is challenging - you have to consider stability, performance and scalability across multiple platforms - but it is rewarding to see what customers in aerospace and other industries and academia are doing with the products.
Cons
The company is small and needs a few more developers who are motivated to make great products. There are so many cool things to do but not enough people to do them.
