Very few tv/media companies in town, so if you want to work in the media industry and not move to NYC, this is your only option.
Cons
Cost of living goes up every year, but they won't give you any raise at all -- not even 1%. It has been like this for years! Notice they don't post any jobs on Glassdoor at all?! Every other year or so, they get rid of employees, and word gets out that this place is toxic, where power is isolated within a few areas (finance, operations), and those people don't know what they're doing. They work in an old world, while the rest of the media world is changing as fast as a twitter feed! Notice that the network only airs shows from the 1970s?? Jeffersons, Good Times, Sanford! Black people are not stuck in the 70s anymore! Who makes these decisions? Why are they still there? The person buying movies doesn't know what the movies are about. Lacks knowledge of black content!
