Cant really come up with any cons to be honest, i enjoyed every minute of my time at TELUS and would definitely recommend my friends to work for TELUS.

    I worked at TELUS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    There is opportunity for enterprising individuals and leadership is supportive. Most importantly, Telus is a huge player in multiple arenas which creates numerous possibilities for growth.

    Cons

    There has been a lot of push and pull due to restructuring in recent years - making work structures confusing. For ambitious people sometimes the rate of change can be too slow

    Advice to Management

    People are not challenged enough leading to the more competent ones feeling demotivated and deincentivised.

    Great work environnement, great benefits.

    As far as phone support goes, definitely an amazing place to work at. A lot of call centres should take notes...

    Cons

    Demanding job being on the phone with angry customers all day. You need to be someone that does not take things personally otherwise you will have a very bad time

    Advice to Management

    Productivity is important for the bottom line ROI, but creating opportunities to be off the phone for a portion of the day would be very good for the load the days are putting on the staff.
