Pros
Small company atmosphere. There is a genuine concern for the dignity of their patients. Clinicians are professional and well educated. SOME management have integrity and are dedicated to the quality and care of clients and treat the people, including employees, with respect and dignity.
Cons
There are managers intimidate, bully, do not get involved when needed, are obstacles and focused on their own personal agendas. There is an expectation that the salary you hire in at will be the salary you will work for while taking on additional responsibilities or initiatives that are large in nature. Some salaries are set salaries, especially hourly employees, but salaried employees - make sure that you negotiate aggressively because there isn't a good sense of monetary reward for your expertise.
