Pros

I joined SourceCode in February of 2019 as an Account Executive. From day one, this company has made me feel appreciated and important, regardless of my level or status. They care about my growth and my career interests, which is something I had yet to truly experienced in the workforce. They invest in your professional development and encourage creativity, making sure every employee feels like they are heard. I was promoted to Senior Account Executive a year later and am continuing to grow professionally with the help of my teammates and the management team. The partners are amazing leaders that value transparency and communication, which has been proven more than ever during COVID-19. The company culture is unlike anything I've experienced in my career thus far, with very generous benefits and flexibility. SC has been more than just a paying job - it has helped shape me into the professional I am today - which to me is priceless.

Cons

If you prefer to work at a larger company with less of a hands-on experience, SC isn't for you.

Pros

Excellent benefits with strong support for employee wellbeing. The culture is genuinely friendly, inclusive, and welcoming, with a diverse team that collaborates well. Leadership is approachable, supportive, and always willing to lend a helping hand, making it a great environment to grow and feel valued.

Cons

As with any growing organization, workloads can occasionally be busy during peak periods, but this is balanced by supportive management, although some processes could be a smidge smoother.

Pros

Many team members are very kind, genuine, and highly intelligent. Some benefits are decent. The leadership team are really good people, and overall want the best for employees, but they seem disconnected from the day-to-day workload and don’t recognize how unsustainable it’s become.

Cons

SourceCode works with some impressive clients, but unfortunately, the internal structure doesn’t support the scale of work they take on. Leadership often bites off more than they can chew when bringing in large, demanding accounts, leaving mid-level and junior staff to absorb the overflow and essentially do all of the hard work. The team is simply not large or equipped enough to handle the workload that comes with these clients, resulting in constant stress and burnout. Work-life balance is poor, with late nights and weekend work subtly expected. Processes are disorganized and very inefficient, with some managers only delegating rather than collaborating and carrying their weight. Proper guidance from management is lacking, the turnover is bad and so are the salaries in relation to how much work is expected. Overall, the environment is stressful and unsustainable for those seeking balance and growth.
