Pros

Bonus (not guaranteed), WFH scheduling, Independence

Cons

There's a lot. Management wants you to be vulnerable and honest, but all that does is set a target on your back, Hard to be progressive in a positive way knowing this. CEO is full of himself and pretends to care about his people and customers, when in reality all he cares about is profit (shocker). The COO can barely form a sentence without using a million filler words and overtalks absolutely everyone so you can never get your point across. They promise a lot with no delivery on an operations standpoint. Management likes to dismiss actual issues and pass blame whenever possible, they love scapegoats. They're only transparent with issues they want you to know about. "Accountability" is a core value yet no one truly does it. They paint a pretty picture with lots of promises, don't fall for it. They want you to be "intellectually curious" so you can do more work at the same pay. It gets "top workplace awards" but yet for anyone who has worked there knows that's fabricated. If you do end up working there always cover yourself and keep evidence of your work, you'll probably feel like you're walking on egg shells most days. Lots of cliques with management favoring those in it. This place is the fakest of the fake, all i can say is be cautious and don't say you haven't been warned. The turnover rate is probably ridiculous, but they'd never admit that and ruin their "perfect" image.

Pros

I’ve been working at Roundstone Insurance for 8 months, and it has been an amazing experience! The company culture is truly something special. Managers and executives genuinely listen and welcome feedback, which creates a supportive and empowering environment. I especially love Roundstone’s CORE values: Live Well, Work Smarter, Own It, and Be Intellectually Curious. These aren’t just words—they’re actively reflected in how we work and grow as a team. One of the most unique things about Roundstone is the monthly meetings with the Owners, where open dialogue and transparency are encouraged. It’s refreshing to be part of an organization that values both its people and continuous improvement. I’m proud to be here!

Pros

Hybrid work opportunity, benefits are fair. Great building to work in: garage for those who get to work early, on site gym with trainers, three cafe areas, discount opportunities (company subsidized lunch two days a week)

Cons

None that affect me directly - but I see too many who come in late, leave early, and spend a lot of time pretending to work when they are texting on their phones. I think these may be the people who complain about being micro-managed? If you are doing your job, there really is no need for the manager to constantly be looking at your work. The con here is that some managers are not taking action to stress that it's not micro-managing but should let people know what their job is. And no - I am not a manager
