Resound has been an absolutely fantastic company to work for! They are extremely supportive and eager to help you with whatever you need to teach your students successfully. The office is extremely helpful and provides quick responses to any issues that may arise, as well as dealing with all scheduling/billing, so you can just focus on teaching. This is a company that fully believes in their teachers and they are open to hearing any feedback and fielding any questions/concerns. Resound focusses on instilling a love of music within their students and supports an individual-based learning plan. A wonderful music school and a fantastic company to teach through!
Cons
This is a mobile music school so traffic between student's houses can sometimes be a hassle to deal with.

The school staffs are amazing and provides continuous support to all instructors. It will be very easy to navigate as new on-boarding employee.

Pros
Extremely nice and friendly management and coworkers who are all very professional, yet down to earth! Very flexible hours, and you are pretty much in control of your own day to day work - in 4 years I've had sparse, but good interactions with management, and I actually look forward to these interactions because of the individual nature of the job... I hardly get to hang out with the great people that I work with/for! flexible scheduling and fantastically individualistic day to day work routine, and good wages on flexible contract terms. You end up feeling like your own boss, which is very liberating - yet you have management to do all the extra burdensome work of actually being your own business! Very fulfilling and creative job, where one can find students who work very well with them, because of the unique Resound Student assessments.
Cons
If you have a gas guzzling car... You are lucky that resound pays their teachers well, so you can replace it! (Which you should do anyway!). Other than that, I'm hard pressed to find anything to complain about, and quite honestly, even with a gas guzzler, you'd be fairly compensated for the costs of driving!
