Pros
The company completely blew away my expectations. I was originally hesitant about Redactive, since my employment was transferred there without my control, but they were incredibly welcoming. Everyone is extremely friendly and they (truly) have a flat management structure, which means that there is a lot of direct communication with management and they make a specific effort to listen to people's concerns and take on suggestions. They clearly care very much about the quality of the editorial they are producing and always push for new content ideas. The company also has great expertise with digital media assets like video and podcasts. It's a lot more open and efficient than previous large media companies I've worked for and an amazing place to learn.
Cons
It can be difficult as a new joiner to get to truly know the people outside your immediate team, as each magazine works quite independently and most people only go to the office once a week.
