Pros
Very strategic product portfolio and long term vision, typically Gartner "top right" Working with the largest enterprises on strategic projects Generally very senior and experienced staff, culture to support colleagues etc Mature business (part of EMC, long history etc), for better and worse
Cons
Limited ability to influence, especially if you work outside the main hubs (limited career options) Internal processes and policy can be a nightmare, but very much like other big American IT-companies.
