Pros

I guess it is good to have a job. But bad to have a job like this....

Cons

Stagnant staff Poor Product with no chance of competing against Tableau, MicroStrategy, Amazon or Microsoft. Sales leadership lacks competitive understanding that they have no legs to stand on in a battle The people are very arrogant Travel to roadshows and no one is interested in your booth All in all just a very terrible place to be with people who don't get it and I left feeling awful about the experience

Pros

Pyramid has a cutting edge solution that stands up incredibly well in technical evaluations. Massive support from different departments of the org and a big team component. Expertise sprinkled throughout the org to help bring specialists in when the time is right.

Cons

Lower brand awareness leads to uphill battles in sales cycles. When people see the product they tend to get it and see the vision, however the battle between champions and other key stakeholders is a short term disadvantage.

Pros

Neat product, when it worked. Forward thinking regarding AI implementation back when it was new.

Cons

Poor leadership: - CEO was disengaged. Poor communication. Never held company meetings. After massive layoffs, promised zero layoffs for the next year and then held RIFs every 3 months. - CTO would actively ridicule and make fun of others at every meeting - incredibly demoralizing. Would change his mind on a dime, often multiple times in the same meeting, and refused to put goals in writing so it was practically impossible to know what he wanted. Micromanaged teams outside his jurisdiction. Micromanagement + lack of defined goals = chaos / miserable work experience. - Company would frequently lie about the status of their product and releases, claiming features were ready but then stringing their user base along for months while they frantically worked to get the software working.
